Kaleigh Mann

Master's Level Intern

Kaleigh Mann is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern currently pursuing a Master of Arts at Liberty University, a CACREP-accredited program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Indiana. Kaleigh combines academic knowledge with practical experience to support individuals on their mental health journeys.

As a former U.S. Army Reservist, military spouse, and member of a military family, Kaleigh brings a unique perspective to counseling, particularly attuned to the challenges faced by service members and their families. This background fosters a deep understanding of resilience, transition, and the importance of mental wellness within the military community.

In her clinical practice, Kaleigh employs a trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, integrating holistic principles that consider the interconnectedness of mind and body. Recognizing that factors such as hormonal balance, nutrition, environment, relationships, and physical activity significantly influence mental health, she tailors interventions to address these areas comprehensively. Kaleigh also explores early childhood experiences, family dynamics, relationships, and attachment styles to help explain current functioning.

Kaleigh works with adults and adolescents aged 13+, focusing on areas including:

  • Depression and anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Eating disorders and body image

  • Self-esteem

  • Relationship issues

  • Life transitions

  • Military and veteran issues

  • Academic planning and career readiness

  • Women's issues, PCOS

  • Faith-based Christian counseling

In her practice, Kaleigh values the principles of hope, transparency, accountability, cultural sensitivity, and self-compassion. Kaleigh’s goal for each session is to collaboratively and empathetically work alongside her clients to cultivate understanding, awareness, and empowerment to navigate life (and all its obstacles) with a renewed sense of confidence.
